Stainless steel drinking station
Most cat fountains are sold with a claim that isn’t true.
We build ours anyway — just not on that. Filtered, circulated, always-fresh water in a steel station that comes apart for cleaning without tools, with replacement filters that arrive before you’d think to order them.

The part that is actually true
A cat on dry food drinks more than a cat on wet food — and still ends up drier.
That’s the measured finding, and it’s the only honest reason to think about your cat’s water at all. Dry food is 3–11% moisture. Prey is about 70%. Cats compensate at the bowl, but not all the way.
Male cats that experience a urethral obstruction each year, across 237,825 cats in UK veterinary records. Of those episodes, 29.6% ended in death — 88% of them by euthanasia.
Of cats over ten develop chronic kidney disease, rising to 80% over fifteen, per the Cornell Feline Health Center. Age is the only known risk factor — which is exactly why we won’t claim a fountain prevents it.
Of cat owners wash the water bowl after each meal. Roughly one in five clean it two or three times a week. The bowl is usually the least-maintained thing in the kitchen.

The claim we refuse to make
“A fountain makes your cat drink more.”
Every fountain brand says it. We went and read the research, and it doesn’t hold up.
| Study | Cats | What it found |
|---|---|---|
| Grant, JFMS 2010 | 13 | “A fountain failed to substantially increase water intake and dilute urine in cats.” |
| Pachel & Neilson, 2010 | 9 | Flowing 115.4 mL vs still 109.8 mL — not statistically significant. |
| Robbins et al., JFMS 2019 | 14 | Still, circulating and free-falling water: P = 0.942. No difference. |
| Kosmal et al., 2026 | 32 papers | “Water intake was not affected by… water source type (static or flowing).” |
So what is true?
One finding survives all four papers: individual cats have strong individual preferences. Some will cross a room for moving water. Others genuinely don’t care. There is no way to know which one you own until you put it on the floor.
That uncertainty is ours to carry, not yours. Ninety nights. If your cat ignores it, we refund you and you keep the fountain — posting a used water bowl back to us helps nobody.
Reviews
There aren’t any yet.
We have not shipped to a single customer, so there is nothing here to show you. When there is, it goes in this space — including the reviews from people whose cats walked past it, because a page that only prints the good ones tells you nothing you can use.
We do not buy reviews, seed them, or write them ourselves.

The number nobody shows you
What it costs to run, not what it costs to buy.
A fountain is cheap once and expensive forever, or the other way around. Move the sliders and see where ours actually sits over five years.
Competitor filter prices and intervals are taken from their own published replacement schedules. Electricity is excluded — all of these pumps draw roughly the same, and it’s pennies.

“Typical plastic fountain” and “premium steel rival” are composites of the best-selling models in each bracket, priced from their own published listings, re-checked 6 September 2026. We’re more expensive than the cheap one and we don’t make a cordless model — if either of those is what matters most to you, buy theirs.
Nights
The offer
If your cat ignores it, that’s our problem.
The research is clear that some cats want moving water and some don’t, and that nobody can tell you in advance which one is asleep on your sofa. Charging you to find out would be a strange way to run a business.
Use it for ninety nights. If it isn’t being used, email us one line and we refund the whole order — fountain, filters, delivery. Don’t send it back. Give it to someone whose cat might feel differently.
The station
Ninety nights to find out
what your cat thinks.
You keep the fountain either way. That’s the entire offer, and there isn’t a catch buried further down.
